Amazing Baby ::: Bluebird Theater ::: 06.25.09
Amazing Baby played like a pack of ravaged wolves to a fragile crowd in dire need of some cheering up. The group is associated with the unclassifiable genre of music that has been burgeoning for years that garnered acclaim for MGMT from NY that has a hint of classic rock (dare I say some of it associated with jam bands), a tinge of electronic, and great musicianship. I didn’t anticipate such an electric set from the lot and they stated that it was a long day (driving and bad news) and that the altitude was getting to them. I agree, a tough day all around and emotionally taxing.
