The UK and I share an affinity for gloomy sounding blokes, distortion, and rain. The Boxer Rebellion fit the first two descriptions and have the makings of a band that NME is waiting to jizz on, perhaps figuratively. The guys are doing a small US tour to spread their gospel in the two cities foreign musicians play when they play the States, NYC and LA.
Tuesday, April 21 – KCRW Presents – The Troubador, LA (support act: Funeral Party)
Thursday, April 23 – (early show) Mercury Lounge, NYC (support act: Echosuite)
Friday, April 24 – (late show) Mercury Lounge, NYC (support act: Blood St.)
