Black Kids played an energetic set last night that put my doubts in their ability to translate their polished album sound to a hip-swaying set before a crowded house. The group poked fun at their own expense when they downplayed their horrific performance at the Larimer Lounge, claiming that it was “reverby”. The Floridians exude a confidence that their youthful looks don’t dictate and created havoc on stage with their electrifying beats. More pictures below.
