This is a band name I haven’t thought of since high school. Semisonic, Third Eye Blind, Bush, Nada Surf, and Better Than Ezra were all bands all you kids that graduated high school from 95-99 can relate to. Their forthcoming album, Paper Empire, is scheduled to be released May 12th (you can purchase it here) and for all of you haters out there, I have a soft spot in my heart for the group. So there!

BeckEye I have a soft spot for them too. Screw the haters. People always look at me strangely when I list them among my favorite bands. I don’t know why. Maybe they’re not that exceptional, but I’ve always felt that Kevin Griffin had one of the most earnest and beautiful voices of all the popsters out there. And they sure know how to craft catchy tunes.
