American Princes
American Princes are a band from Little Rock, Arkansas that got the party started at the very much larger and very improved Fader Fort (if that was possible). Their distortion was a bit overwhelming for me to handle this early in the day. Maybe in the right setting, it could have been a lot better.
Let’s Wrestle
Let’s Wrestle list Pavement as one of their influences, and who am I to argue with that. The UK band created a bigger buzz than the previous openers. The group did the darnedest to capture everyone’s attention in a drunken haze (yes it was early) . It’s style of almost post angular rock did the crowd well and the crackling of the vocals added for extra amusement.
