Longwave got lost in the enormous pool of talent from NYC that produced a stellar major debut album in The Strangest Things. The group produced their follow up There’s a Fire to lackluster reviews and in my mind the group turned into an afterthought. The new album released Nov. 11th , Secrets are Sinister, didn’t produce much of a blip on the radar, but when I received the album, I couldn’t believe it hadn’t been mentioned. The gloomy vocals produce an ethereal listening experience with the band picking up where they left off on The Strangest Things.
