Limbeck
This is super short notice, but the kids over at CU will be hosting Limbeck this week.
Limbeck-Let’s Get Crazy [mp3]
Limbeck to play a special acoustic concert at Club 156 in the University Memorial Center.
BOULDER, CO – September 23rd, 2008 – Program Council and Qdoba present the musical styling of Limbeck with Abe Abraham.
December 6, 2008
Club 156
Starts: 8 PM
Tickets: $8
Hailing from Orange County, California, Limbeck has explored a plethora of musical styles since its inception in 1999. Initially touring with such bands as New Found Glory and the All American Rejects, Limbeck has since left their pop-punk roots to pursue a more alt-country sound. Their most recent release, 2007’s self-titled studio album, illustrates this progression. Filled with twangy guitars and danceable beats, the album exudes a relaxed, easy-going vibe. Often compared to Wilco, Dr. Dog, and the Format, Orange County rockers, Limbeck, blend indie, Americana, and alt-country to achieve a combination that any music lover can appreciate. Join them, along with local indie-folk musician, Abe Abraham for a special all acoustic concert in Club 156.
The show will be held on December 6th, 2008 in Club 156, located in the UMC connection on the first floor of the University Memorial Center. Check out our website, www.programcouncil.com for more information about this show and see other upcoming events on campus.
