The Black Lips
The year that the Black Lips played 80 times during SXSW, I didn’t catch them. Not once. I didn’t see them swapping spit or watching stages collapse or parties get busted. I did, see them at an in-store performance that was rather tame, so I can only imagine how rad this show must have been at McCarren Park Pool.
