This was long overdue. This man has completely reinvented himself, and the transformation was a raging success. Does the new sound resemble something your mom would listen to? Probably maybe. However, in his defense, Jamie knows how to hold down the stage, even when it’s just him manning the knobs and getting the crowd involved into at what time seemed like a drum circle. Lidell could have gone the easy route and written new songs with the same sound from the first album, but his new approach to music has garnered some new fans and lots of attention. The picture below of the band member w/two saxophones kind of reminds me of that one scene from Star Wars where they enter the Mos Eisley Cantina (I didn’t know the name off the cuff and I had to look it up, so don’t give me shit) and the elephant character is playing two horns. Awesome!
