WIN WEAR, A NEW DENVER ART COLLECTIVE, THROWS SECOND EVENT: DUOS: FROM CANVAS TO SOUND

Denver, CO (February 27, 2008) — We are WIN WEAR; art, music, food, poetry, and film are only a few of the ways this new Denver art collective plans on culturally enriching our city. WIN WEAR was created by Scott Beck and Mark Shusterman, whose desire to develop a new concept for showcasing local artists blossomed into a practical vehicle for creativity. Monthly events will take place, each featuring their own unique themes and artists. First up, Duos.

Duos is WIN WEAR’s second event and will be held Thursday, March 13^th, 2008. After combing the city for some of its most talented players, WIN WEAR molded six distinctive duos out of 12 premiere Denver musicians. These pairs were each given a work of art to inspire a piece of music that will be presented live, March 13^th. Our friends at Great Divide will be providing craft, artisan beer that will also serve as the inspiration for the event’s gourmet food.
