Every year there’s that one act that IS NOT TO BE MISSED. This year, there wasn’t really that one act that proved to be too elusive. It seemed most everybody was playing five times a day , although there was something magical about Santogold. She has everything M.I.A. has, but not as bitchy. Her beats (courtesy of Diplo) and her live show didn’t miss a step. She was gyrating at every possible moment and flowed like the Rio Grande. All they hype this girl is getting is well deserved and she was very lighthearted between sets, cracking jokes, etc. My favorite joke, “What did one tampon say to the other? Nothing, they were both stuck up cunts.” HAHAHAHA
