Hercules and Love Affair
Any group from DFA is going to get a notice, atleast in my book that is. The album sounds like everything from the 70’s that hasn’t been redone. The glorious trumpets, the Roxy Music inspired synth, and the vocals best compared to Antony from the Johnsons. I’m a little saddened to NOT see them at SXSW this year. Chin up, Hercule‘s new s/t album will be released March 11th and you can purchase it here.
