The 2008 Democratic Convention is taking place in Denver this upcoming August. Denver Post gossip guru Bill Husted has the scoop. He states that the Red Headed Stranger (Willie Nelson) and Rage Against the Machine will be kicking things off at Mile High Stadium for the musical festivities of the Democratic Convention. MTV is supposed to take up shop at the abandoned Wolfgang Puck Restaurant in the Denver Pavilions on the second floor. All I know is that shit’s gonna be live this summer and we have a front row seat. Oh yeah, he also mentioned that this summer is the 25th anniversary of Under a Blood Red Sky at Red Rocks for U2. I’m not saying anything, but the stars seem to have aligned themselves quite nice for what could perhaps be one of the biggest shows at Red Rocks this Summer.
