It has been such a long time that I have been to a show where the opening band starts on time. I show up 15 minutes late and to my dismay, Louis XIV was wrapping up their set. A whopping 25 minute set. I heard the tail end of the set, and on the way to the pisser, everybody seemed to be very excited about the short but sweet set. As for Hot Hot Heat, they did their thing. The mainly young female crowd jumped everywhere out of sheer exuberance and lead singer Steve Bays from Hot Hot Heat is a lot smaller in person. I think it’s all hair.
