The Black Hollies

The guy in the middle kind of looks like Hyde from That 70’s Show. Ok, ok, on a more serious note. The Black Hollies are a psych-garage band that you must acquaint yourself with immediately. We’re talking Strawberry Alarm Clock type shit mixed with some Animals for some good measure. These kids sound like the real deal. They better be, they’re from Joisey (Jersey City to be exact). They have a new album titled being released, Casting Shadow, this March 11th via New York Imprint, Ernest Jenning. The group will be making the rounds at SXSW, and I will add them to my must see list this March.It looks like they’ll be doing multiple shows during SXSW week.
