Romanoff
The name says Russian, the sound says French, but they are two cousins that live in Brooklyn. I’m confused. Their DJ set is has been known to cause sweaty alcohol induced frenzies. If any of you NYC kidz see him or are going to see them, let me know, I’m very curious.

I didn’t know that psychobilly music existed that far east of the Rio Grande. These Norwegians are seriously twisted and the guy in the mirror resembles a young and clean Nick Cave. This music belongs in that new movie from the Cohen Brothers.

Say Hi
Say Hi , like as in Say Hi to Your Mom, yes….but new moniker, new year, new album, and it will be released in February. The title of the album is The Wishes and the Glitch, and it’s one of their most inspiring albums. I don’t know if it’s the name change, but they sound grown up. Is that possible.

STOLEN TRANSMISSION has been on a tear signing these electro kids. SPIN has chosen one of their newest signees as band of the day, and not a bad choice from the up and coming roster. Innerpartysystem maybe a little too Fischerspooner for me, but they’re still as catchy.
