Do you remember how glitchy music use to be in the early 80’s? Do you remember Yaz? After Yaz, came Erasure, and so on and so on…. Fast forward a couple of years to the year of 2003. The Postal Service created one of the biggest sleeper albums ever with a duo made up of Dntel and Ben Gibbard. Think of all the best things of Postal Service and early New Wave music and you get Plastic Operator. The infectious vocals and lush beats had me listening to the album, Different Places, on repeat all weekend.
