I was turned on to these Finnish kids recently. I kept on seeing their names everywhere, but didn’t know what they sounded like. This album is a good place to start. It will be released next week as an import and it is definitely a do not miss.

Her new album comes out at the end of November and this shit is going to be better than anything she has ever done.

Easily my favorite movie of the year, by a long shot. The script was well written and the character development was superb. Sam Reilly did a fantastic job of finding his inner hate and the actor that played the band’s manager had me laughing throughout the movie. The cinematography was unreal and some of the shots were so beautiful that it had me not wanting to leave the theatre. The movie played like a biography of Ian Curtis, not a puff movie about Joy Division. My only quip with the movie is that they dragged the Ian Curtis death scene a bit much and I think they could have done a better job of casting the Peter Hook and Bernard roles, aside from that, top movie of the year. I could never understand why a lot of people loved Atmosphere, after watching this movie, I can appreciate it.
