This album is one of those that I have had in my possession for a while, but didn’t have a chance to listen to for several reasons. I regret not listening to it much sooner. Mark Olson is one of the founding members from the Jayhawks. Americana, rockabilly, whatever, the music speaks for itself. It’s earnest, vocals are superb, and it makes you want to take a road trip or a long car ride just for the sake of listening to the album. In a certain light, it makes you yearn for a time years ago, a time that I never knew, but I can imagine how honest it must have been. He will be touring in support of the album and it can also be purchased here.
