The Sky Drops
The dastardly Delawarean duo do it by themselves. Well, not really, but you get the gist. Rob and Monika make music with a guitar and a drum set ala White Stripes , just as raw, but I like their harmonizing better. Their voices don’t sound like their screeching and can definitely hold a note with their fuzzy guitar in one hand and drum sticks in the other. The music is reminiscent of early 90’s Shoegaze and break the stereotype of all two people bands having to be either garage rock or being extremely loud to compensate for only having two people in the band.
