Today is going to be Canada day in new music, last post was from Montreal, and now Toronto. In what could possibly win an award in the category of weird album covers, Whore’s Luck is the name of the new album from Picastro . The album comes out Sept 11th and is Picastro’s third album. It features contributions by Owen Pallet from Final Fantasy as well as Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu. The album plays as a haunting reminder of what fuzzy guitars and sinister style vocals can do to one’s imagination. As an added bonus, if the scary vocals didn’t do it, there’s an organ thrown in for good measure.
