A sweaty and very gracious crowd eagerly waited the triumphant return of Denver’s own the Photo Atlas. The night was set off right with a perfect pairing with the lads from Glasgow, the Cinematics. Their wardrobe looked like something right out of Franz Ferdinand’s closet, but that’s quite alright for the fashionable lads. As for the music, it was better than their recorded material. They were well received by the predominant skate punk crowd….As far as the Photo Atlas, they’re always magnetic on stage. They have this insane energy that didn’t let up at any point during the show, allowing for the crowd to feed off directly from their captivating aura on stage. The Photo Atlas continues being one of the most engaging and intriguing live acts around.
They will continue on their trek this summer on the Vans Warped Tour (don’t hate).
