I guess with age and experience, your artistic leanings become a little eccentric and you start doing things that other people would have you not do, but let’s face it, you aren’t getting any younger and what better time than now. I will be the first to admit that the Beasties were not always my favorite band and often times rolled my eyes when I would see those buffons dancing to Brass Monkey, that funky monkey, ewwwww… Things are a little different for the kids from the 5 Boroughs. They have matured and I think they may have run out of clever rhymes because their new album is slated to be instrumental, and IMHO, a positive new direction. With that said, a remix album of the Beastie Boys has come across, and they’re all remixes from Nevilo , definitely worth checking out.
