Wilco Tuesday
The day has arrived. As you know, Wilco (just like every other band out there), want you to buy their album today. Totally understandable. Nobody likes a moocher. I have listened to the album in many different settings. My first reaction was one of distaste. In time, I have learned to somewhat like the album, but I have made it a point to make any reservations about the album and to get rid of my old ones until I see them live, pushing the hell out of this one. The reason being, and I can’t remember which song(s) it was, but I thought, “Fuck, this actually could sound huge, live!” It was a moment of awakening. It came to me like an epiphany, and from that moment on, I have decided to withhold any opinion on the album. But to get in the mood for the album release today, I have a show from Jeff Tweedy’s Solo Show at the Vic last month. Enjoy!
