The Features
Is Nashville the new Austin? Portland? Seattle? or has it always been the benchmark? Hmmm…. When reading what’s around on the The Features, I keep on reading about their impact on people’s lives, but not on music. Relative unknown? That is the question. Talk about numerous accolades and only making a blip on the radar. Imagine you have the admiration of many some pretty kewl bands, i.e. Kings of Leon and the Raconteurs, and garnering very little attention. I believe this EP was released last year, but I can code this one as , slipped through the cracks… One look at their MySpace page, and a quick gander at their influences has me sold. I don’t even have to listen to their music and we’re cool.

Call me crazy, but on some of these songs sound as if ELO had been reincarnated and came back in the form of the Features. Jeff Lynne would be proud!!! I luv me sum Jeff Lynne.
