The Thermals brought their brand of Power Punk Hardcore from the Oregon Music Making City of Portland last night to the Mile High City with overpowering force. Their style of music kind of armwrastles you under their sound and last night was no exception. No other band out right now has the Thermal “sound” and don’t get me wrong, I like it, but most of their music does kind of sound the same. I like listening to their singles but have a hard time committing to the entire album at once, maybe it’s my ADD kicking in….It was crazy, because the crowd was a little young due to the 16+ age allowance and did I mention that the show sold-out?!
