This band is one of those bands that Jax has written about a gazillion times. I was given their album by one of my SF friends and could not stop talking about their live show. This opinion was reinforced by one of the kids that I met inside Mohawk who would not stop gushing about them. I have heard and read nothing but rave reviews about Birdmonster and their live show. I lived to tell the tale and Birdmonster is the real deal. I can think of maybe one or two more bands with their kind of energy in broad daylight. It was 4:30 and these kids were playing as if it were the last show, EVER!!! I admire their cohesiveness, improtuness (is that even a word?!) and great music most importantly. Very energetic!!
