My penchant for Thursday night television is getting out of control. Thank God for TV recording devices, because I showed up a bit late for openers Pony Up last night and I would have kicked myself had I missed their set. Their music is much like that of a diary of a teenage girl, but without the excessive amount of angst and a little more tenacity. I think the stars were aligned in my favor because last night was the last night of their tour w/Camera Obscura. They are an indie-pop group from the city of Montreal and their S/T debut was released last year.
