on a totally separate note, I have a friend, we’ll call her FACE, asked me the other day if I had any Fixx records. I had to think hard about this one. I delved through my music collection and found my Best of Album because she was feeling the Fixx, and I have caught these guys at a free show at the Taste of Colorado, hahahaha,’ tis rad indeed. The worse part of the situation is that I know that their music was used in some 80’s movies but can’t recall for the life of me , grrrr….
The Fixx-One Thing Leads to Another mp3
I can name many a soundtrack….”Better Off Dead” the main one….and oddly enough…The Fixx has no songs on this one. Their 80’s producer, Rupert Hine, was in charge of the music for this one….and included Jamie West-Oram on guitar for a couple tracks and Cy Curnin on vocals for some. The Fixx had songs on the soundtracks for “Fletch”, Streets Of Fire” and “Looks that Kill” among others.
better of dead is one of my all time faves… i’m surprised that i have never noticed that….
Could you update the download links for The Fixx songs? I would be most appreciative!
