Best Band I Dismissed In ’06

I saw these kids at a Filter Showcase in Austin this past March and I didn’t think a whole of them. I can say that maybe I was excited for what was going to happen later in that day, perhaps it was the setting (Cedar St), or the timing (later afternoon). Whatever the case may be, I can wholeheartedly say that after looking at other best of lists for the ’06 year, I resent not picking up this album earlier. Shame on me. Some thoughts/words that come to mind when listening to this album, fuzzy, Smashing Pumpkins, lush, and lots of distortion.
