Best Movies of 2006

I waited till last night to make a decision on the best movies that I saw this year. It’s a good thing I did. Pedro Almodovar’s Volver is has breathed new life into Penelope Cruz’s acting career. The movie is shot beautifully and very vibrant full of great shots and vivid colors. The storyline is amazing, the dialogue is hysterical, and all the character’s come to life in this keep it in the family movie. Well deserved of all of the awards that have come or yet to come for this wonderful film. It’s a tie for #2 with the Science of Sleep and Little Miss Sunshine. Both movies were great. One was aesthetically pleasing, while the other was an easy to realte to dysfunctional family that you have met before.
