Modest Mouse Covers
By now, you have read how Pitchfork body-slammed the lates OC Mix album of Modest Mouse covers to the ground. The kids from the Stephen Malkmus Messageboard were discussing this topic and I brought up the fact that Mark Kozelek (Red House Painter/Sun Kill Moon) did an album of Modest Mouse covers Tiny Cities as well. His cover of Ocean Breathes Salty is the saddest/most beautiful take on that song and I always tend to listen to him around this time of year.
