Annuals (this maybe a case where collectives kick your ass)
It seems that the collective has seen a bit of a resurgence in the last couple of years/months. I am keeping my ear to the ground for more, and have listened to a new one that I want to write about next week. Annuals are a band from the Tar Heel state and have a very funny article in Spin this month. I didn’t know that one of them splits his time with a metal band, crazy huh. I enjoyed them at CMJ and saw that they played 10 times over the span over 3 days, my stats maybe incorrect, but that’s how it felt. One of the members of the band resembles Hollywood actress Alicia Witt, you decide.
