Ben Kweller & Sam Roberts Band

I always forget how young of a crowd Ben Kweller draws. The place was crawling with tons of high schoolers. The best was seeing Ben, you can kind of see it in the pic above, was wearing one of his tour tshirts, sooo funny. The real story is HOW GOOD Sam Roberts is and why are they not getting enough press. I think somebody forgot to tell these guys that we are in the ’00’s and not the ’70’s . These guys jammed like nobody’s business, and the kewl thing was that nobody seemed to mind. Even with the sweet ass riffs from Sam Roberts, there were catchy songs too. I was very impressed because I swore that somebody on stage was drinking some electric Kool-Aid, because of how psychadelic it was getting towards the end of their set.
