I’m so jealous. It seems that everybody that went to this show had an amazing time. Although, Dan the Homeboy was on the front and happy to report and recount by his poetic words and pcitures on how amazing the show was:
Attention Everyone, this Dan the Homeboy…Invading the Julio Blog……….Man, all I can say is that one ofthe greatest Hip-hop groups of all time still getsmuch love, A Tribe called Quest did their thang inDenver at the Fillmore. The energy there was so thickthat you could have cut it with a knife. Man, hearingTribe live was unbelievable. To me these fourguys..(an, Yes I said four guys…can you believe itJarobi was there too!!!) will always be the G.O.A.T.of hip-hop..no disrespect to Kast. They took you downmemory lane with their classics Bonita Applebum, Can IKick it, Check the Rhyme…AwardTour…Scenario…Sucka N*ggaz. Shit hearing SuckaN*ggaz live this was the best song by far at theconcert the crowd was so into it feeding off ofQ-tip’s vibe line for line..word for word…notmissing a beat. Hopefully I won’t lose my pass in thehood for writing this, but if a white person had saidN*gga during the song I wouldn’t have gotten pissedand been ready to fight. I understood it was atribute to Tribe, for a moment we were all of the samecolor, Black w/red & green stripes. A people onPeople’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythmfinding The Low End of Theory that lead us to becomeMidnight Marauders looking for Beats, Rhymes & Lifefor The Love Movement to pay our respects to thegreatest hip-hop group of all time…A Tribe Called Quest……
