#3- Secret Machines
Secret Machines is another native Texas band hailing from New York via Dallas has the stamp seal of approval from Mr. Bowie and why not. These psych rockers deserve all the press they get. One of the more innovative bands out right now are on album #2 and not as recognized as their first by the public, but IMHO I believe it’s just as good. They also remixed my favorite bands of all time, New Order.

I was listening to the Chill Station #34 on Sirius and I heard this song and I was immediately hooked. It has to be one of the most laid back songs I’ve heard in a long time. I swear I listened to it like 100 times in one night. I tried to find information on these guys, but not a whole lot.
I will be leaving to Austin this evening for the festival, and I can already taste the Taco Cabana and the sweet sweet bbq. I luv me some TC!!! For those of you in Austin for the soiree, we will be hanging out all weekend, don’t be bashful, come and say hello.
