Don’t hate. You know you have seen him on PBS peddling his sweet ass Mexican food when he visits these small towns in the middle of Mexico. His name is Rick Bayless and he has a show on PBS called “Mexico, One Plate At a Time” and he also has two restaurants in Chicago , Frontera Grill and Topolobampo. At times you may have even thought, “Gawd, I wish I could make stuff like that.” Well, that was me, and I bought one of his books on Saturday and had it signed by Mister Mexico himself. I even made one of his dishes for lunch yesterday and God Almighty, it was SOOO good. I made some Chipotle flavored steak tacos with rice, blackbeans, and plantains. If you haven’t heard of him, look him up at your closest bookstore.
