I took one for the team last night. Whenever I go to the movies with my sister and my cousin, I usually get to select the movie. However, my selection yesterday to see the new Woody Allen movie was vetoed by my sister and I said, “What the hell, you pick the movie.” Wow, so we ended up what I thought was going to be a Michael Bay movie, but it was a Michael Mann movie, close enough though. The movie is what you would expect, explosions, scantily clad females, drug dealers, sweet ass cars, speed boats, and really bad dialogue. It was pure eye candy and much to my surprise, there was an actual plot and the character development was actually there. The music in the movie was not half bad, there were new tunes from Audioslave not included on the soundtrack, and the song used to end the movie was the Phil Collins classic “In the Air Tonight” cover from Nonpoint, ughh. Mogwai , Moby, and Felix Da Housecat also grace the soundtrack.
