How did an actor get this good… I don’t hide it, I love this guy, Philip S Hoffman hands down is probably one of the best actors out right now that make going to the movie theatre bearable. His performance in this great movie about one of America’s great non-fiction writers will garner him a Golden Globe at the very minimum. He has captured the true essence of what is range and has truly come a long way since Brant in Big Lebowski, Scotty in Boogie Nights, and Lester Bangs in Almost Famous. This movie is playing in small indie theatres, so if it is in your city I recommend seeing it asap, for these movies tend to not stick around as long as the other P.O.S. movies at the AMC 48 MegaPlex…
